Tell Me About It

tell me about it

Tell Me About It is a podcast with comedian/radio host Marianne Sierk and director/producer Steve-Tell-Me-About-It-Willis. Each week one of them tells the other something they learned, read or watched and they break it down like only two friends that have known each other for 20 plus years can.

Marianne graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in theatre and moved to NYC right away to become a waitress. She decided to try stand up comedy after seeing all the stage time and freedom it offered. She quickly gained the attention of the producers at VH1 where she was cast in up to 20 episodes of their popular “I Love the….” series (“I Love the 90’s, The 2000’s, etc) She moved to Los Angeles to keep the dream alive and was fortunate enough to find even better waitressing gigs and got more TV work. She played a cheerful piece of pepperoni in a commercial, was a commentator on Tru TV’s “World’s Dumbest” for several seasons, hosted 4 episodes of Byron Allen’s “Comedy.TV” and did stand up on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”. After touring the country doing shows at clubs and colleges and continuing to work on commercials and small TV spots she decided to move back to her hometown of Rochester, NY to co-host a morning radio show. She got married, popped out a baby then moved to Baltimore to co-host an afternoon talk show called “Kirk and Marianne”. You can hear her weekdays from 3-8 here: www.98online.com
